Belletristic is an illustrative series re-imagining pivotal moments in classical stories The series reflects the beauty and lessons learned by the characters, as written by their authors.

The subject matter of each piece is a conglomerate of original story descriptions, film and media adaptations, popular culture influence, and a reflection of the author’s life. I analyze the pivotal, heroic situations and depict the situation and characters in an illustrative style. Using aesthetics from 18th century Romanticism era with influences from horror and thriller camera angles, the pieces have a warped view and continuous features to keep a constant motion around each piece. Belletristic is grounded in aesthetics, beauty and respect for the stories and their authors.
